Bathyswath technical description

Bathyswath is a wide swath sonar system for surveying underwater surfaces. It acquires high density bathymetry and sidescan data. Processed data output includes Digital Terrain Models and sidescan images. It is equally well suited for use at sea, and for inland waterways and lakes. Bathyswath surveys to water depths of 350 meters. It is particularly efficient in shallow water, and is low-cost, compared with similar sonar systems.
